Hong Kong International Jazz Festival 2011, organised by Hong Kong Jazz Association (HKJA), has announced programme details and lineup at the press conference held at Vibes, The Mira Hong Kong, today. Mr. Louis Yu, Executive Director of Performing Arts from the West Kowloon Cultural District Authority, and Peter Lee, President of HKJA, were present with local jazz icon Ted Lo, Ng Cheuk Yin from the aspiring band SIU2, noted female vocalist Ginger Kwan, the gifted jazz pianist Jezrael Lucero, and renowned storyteller and poet Uncle Hung, all will be participating at the Festival this year.


Other star-studded lineup includes five-time Grammy-winning trumpeter Terence Blanchard, Grammy-winning percussionist Poncho Sanchez, Chico & the Gypsies, Freddy Cole Quartet, Maria João with Mário Laginha, and many more. Tickets are now available at Urbtix and Cityline.
